Alicia Heinsen Featured in AIA's Article on Design Career Paths

Education is a lifelong process, but it can be challenging to switch paths or pause momentum in your design career in order to achieve your education goals. Wanda Lau of AIA Architect interviewed four designers, including KSS’ own Alicia Heinsen, Principal, about their journey to licensure.

“I found a path that aligned with my goal of licensure that made sense for the things that were important to me,” Heinsen says. “I put extra legwork in to get there, but that outweighed going back to school, having student loans, and temporarily pausing my professional growth.”
