KSS Recognized by Connecticut Department of Transportation District 5

Walker Consultants, VHB, and the KSS team were recently awarded the 2024 Arthur W. Grun Excellence in Construction Award for Innovative Construction Methods by the Connecticut Department of Transportation District 5 for the Stamford Transportation Center Parking Garage.

The reimagined parking garage and pedestrian bridge offer safe connecting points to the train station for pedestrians. Clad in architectural panels and lighting, it offers 980 parking spaces, 92 EV spaces, and 120 e-bike spaces, enabling an easier commute for all.
