KSS welcomes Jake Whitehead and Shaan Lakshmanan to our NYC office!

KSS welcomes two architectural team members, Shaan Lakshmanan and Jake Whitehead to the firm. Based in New York City, Shaan and Jake embody KSS’ commitment to client-centered, purpose-driven design. Their thoughtful approach will serve our clients as well as our staff and the broader community. Read on to learn more about the newest KSSers.

Shaan Lakshmanan, LEED Green Associate, Architectural Designer

Shaan joins KSS as an architectural designer, with a passion for discovering how spaces shape communities and how to further improve upon them. Shaan is looking forward to expanding his architectural expertise beyond higher education and affordable housing and to witnessing projects he’s contributed to come to life.

Jake Whitehead, RA, Project Architect

Jake joins KSS as a project architect with a strong background in housing. Jake sees architecture as a field that is all about exploration, opening doors to new ideas and bringing variety. With expertise in visualization, environmental analysis, and teaching, he is eager to explore more cultural and community-oriented projects.
