Meet the 2026 KSS Interns
We're thrilled to welcome two amazing interns to our team this summer. Thank you for your hard work and contributions. We can't wait to see your future accomplishments.

Why did you choose to intern at KSS? I share the team's passion for designing for the future and stimulating learning and community through the built environment. There are several fellow Hokies who work here, too!
What has been the most enjoyable part of your experience at KSS? As my first true experience in the professional world, I’ve witnessed the inner workings of an architecture firm. From CAD and rendering software to presentation and graphic design, I've picked up quite a few new skills.
When you’re not interning at KSS, how do you spend your time? Hiking, camping, sketching, painting, visiting art museums, collecting vinyl records, and trying new foods.

Class of 2027
Why did you choose to intern at KSS? I was drawn to the emphasis on research and evidence-based design principles in projects. Through the sustainability initiative this summer, I’ve worked with software that helps incorporate sustainable decisions into the design workflow.
When you’re not interning at KSS, how do you spend your time? Exploring museums and galleries, collecting houseplants, and taking photos with film.
