The concierge services lounge and public lounges at Belmont Park Village, a new luxury shopping destination designed by KSS, elevate the visitor’s journey and offer a refined and immersive design approach.
Our Approach
The concierge services lounge takes its cues from a sophisticated grandmother’s living room with jewel-toned hues and Old World touches. There, visitors are treated to services such as hands-free shopping and a complimentary luggage hold. Architectural millwork adds dimension to deep blue walls and hardwood flooring installed at a 45-degree angle gives a modern twist to the classic material. In the restroom, emerald-colored fluted tiles on the walls and porcelain flooring tile, imported from Spain, complete the distinguished look.
The five public lounges, all with a distinctly different design, offer respite during a busy day of shopping. Each is situated down an atmospheric corridor and features a welcome room and adjacent restroom. Drawing inspiration from the journey from Manhattan to the Hamptons, the rooms transition from formal to beachy. One lounge references New York’s Gilded Age with stately faux steel beams and crown molding. Other lounges embody the seaside charm of Montauk with materials such as heart pine beams, beadboard, and cedar shake paneling.
Together, the design of the concierge services lounge and public lounges reflect the overarching vision of Belmont Park Village: a sustainable, world-class retail destination where architecture, narrative, and hospitality merge to create a sense of place that is both luxurious and timeless.
