The Opportunity
At Northwest Stadium, home of the Washington Commanders, the West Loge renovation reimagines 30,000-SF of underutilized space into a bold, fan-first experience rooted in comfort, character, and connection. With a planned five-year lifespan and a tight budget, the renovation was driven by the challenge of creating an engaging, branded environment that reflects the energy of the team and the city while elevating the loge level experience.
Our Approach
The concept takes inspiration from a die-hard fan’s dream basement, creating a space that feels personal, casual, and full of team pride. Intimate lounge zones, cozy side nooks, and layered textures give the venue warmth and identity, balancing modern amenities with nostalgic details. From framed memorabilia and neon-inspired lighting to city-themed graphics and rich material finishes, the space invites fans to settle in and stay a while.
A dark-to-light palette guides guests through the zone, creating contrast and energy within the low-ceilinged structure. With seating for 600, including mini-suites, theater boxes, ledge seats, and shared bar and food service—the new spaces will offer flexible, right-sized hospitality options that meet fans where they are. The result is the Legacy Lofts, a fully branded, hospitality-forward zone that brings people closer to the team, the action, and each other.
