The Opportunity

KSS Architects embraced the challenge of transforming two key areas in the Prudential arena into spaces that enhance both the VIP experience and general fan engagement. These projects showcase KSS’s ability to blend architectural innovation with the arena’s dynamic atmosphere while honoring Newark’s unique history.

Our Approach

Inspired by Mulberry Commons, hockey, and Newark’s industrial roots, the Prudential Center Lounge features angular geometry, red oak finishes, blackened steel, and a striking laser-cut ceiling. The lounge includes a flexible event space, a full bar, and seamless indoor-outdoor connections, offering a sophisticated yet welcoming environment for VIP guests. Its thoughtful design ensures versatility for both private and large-scale events.

The Foundry Bar also pays homage to the region's manufacturing history with raw materials and utilitarian forms. Positioned prominently on the concourse, it serves as a bold, inviting destination for sports fans and concertgoers and enriches the overall arena experience.
