KSS Promotes Five New Principals

KSS Architects is proud to announce the promotion of five team members to Principal: Beth Emig, AIA; Alicia Heinsen, AIA, LEED AP BD+C; Srinath Nallan; Kyle Rendall, AIA, DBIA; and Andrew Sniderman, AIA.

At KSS, Principals are collaborative leaders who advance the firm’s vision through design excellence, mentorship, and strategic impact. Our five new Principals exemplify this belief as they take on leadership roles that elevate design excellence, leverage our collective expertise, and promote our values and strategic goals. They embody Today for Tomorrow, championing our belief that great architecture can create meaningful and lasting change for our clients, our society, and our world.

Beth Emig, AIA, Principal

Beth’s passion for design excellence and her unwavering commitment to quality have made her a trusted leader in education, from K-12 to higher education, and in the design of environments that support individuals with neurological and developmental challenges. From Rowan University's Discovery Hall to Bancroft’s Mount Laurel Campus, her work exemplifies the power of architecture to uplift and inspire. A mentor and role model, Beth continues to push boundaries and elevate the firm’s design culture.

Alicia Heinsen, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Principal

Alicia is a practice builder whose leadership strengthens relationships and expands opportunities across markets. With boundless determination, she has helped grow KSS’s Housing, Workplace, and Industrial sectors while championing mentorship and design excellence. Alicia’s thoughtful approach to project delivery and people development embodies KSS core values of shared humanity and inspired vision.

Srinath Nallan, Principal, Executive Director, Finance

Since joining KSS, Srinath has brought a calm, steady, and strategic approach to the firm’s business operations. His leadership has formalized processes, strengthened financial systems, and enhanced firmwide understanding of performance and accountability. With a global perspective shaped by ten years in the Merchant Navy, Srinath combines pragmatism and empathy to guide KSS toward a sustainable, thriving future.

Kyle Rendall, AIA, DBIA, Principal, Director of Construction Administration

A homegrown talent, Kyle began his KSS journey as an intern in 2007. His nontraditional path to leadership has been defined by deep relationships with construction partners and a commitment to excellence in execution. As Director of Construction Administration, Kyle ensures design intent carries through to the final handshake with the client, fostering trust and long-term partnerships. His entrepreneurial spirit and strategic vision continue to elevate emerging markets, our sports and hospitality markets.

Andrew Sniderman, AIA, Principal

Andy is a design leader whose curiosity and collaborative energy push KSS toward continuous innovation. Known for his ability to synthesize complex ideas and communicate them with clarity, he inspires teams to think boldly and elevate design quality at every scale, from complex projects like Edelman Fossil Park & Museum of Rowan University to exploring the future of the industrial market. A mentor and advocate for emerging talent, Andy also plays a key role in recruitment and thought leadership across the firm.
