The Opportunity
The Lehigh Valley Trade Center is in the heart of the northeastern United States and offers access to the New York metropolitan area via I-78, as well as seaports and airports. It is within a single day drive to 31% of American and 54% of Canadian consumers. Its nearby proximity to Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton provides access to a labor force of 350,000 people within a half hour drive from the facilities.
Our Approach
KSS was brought on to develop a speculative industrial complex that honors the historical industrial landscape, while incorporating its natural habitat to create a campus that supports a variety of users. Our design focuses on the patterns and massing of stone to reflect the evolution of the area from cement quarry to recreational lake and back.
